The Hearing Voices Movement originated in the Netherlands in the 1980s, and the first Hearing Voices Network appeared in England shortly thereafter. Hearing Voices Networks rely on peer support to provide care and guidance for individuals who experience psychosis by empowering them to share their stories and connect with others.
